Manufactured under strict quality control by skilled craftsmen, our mattresses comply fully with the flame retardency requirements for hotels and other contract applications (Ignition Source 5, BS 7177 Medium Hazard). This is a higher standard than the normal domestic standard (Ignition Source 1).

All our mattresses are guaranteed against defective materials and workmanship for five years and come in a wide range of sizes (see 3 above). Special sizes are also available.

Our top quality open-coil interior sprung mattresses have been designed with just one thing in mind - your total comfort! There is a choice of De Luxe medium (the 'Sovereign Super Spiral' - see 1 above), or firm (the 'Firmback Orthopaedic' - see 2 above) 8ins. deep models, both available at the same price.

If purchased and delivered together with our Wallbeds, there are savings compared to purchasing the mattresses separately.

'Sovereign Super Spiral' medium Mattress

Pictured above is our De Luxe open-coil 8ins. deep 'Sovereign Super Spiral'
Mattress, which is based on a medium 13-gauge spring unit, with a 9-gauge
reinforced rod-edge and comes quilted in an elegant, striped, ticking with
padded and machine-stitched borders and matching flag-stitched handles.
Our mattresses are all flame-retardant to Ignition Source 5, BS 7177.

Mattress, which is based on a firm 12½-gauge spring unit, with a 9-gauge
reinforced rod-edge and comes hand-tufted and finished in an elegant, striped,
ticking with padded and machine-stitched borders and matching flag-stitched
handles. Our mattresses are all flame-retardant to Ignition Source 5, BS 7177.

Detailed above are the standard sizes in which our 'Sovereign Super Spiral'
medium and 'Firmback Orthopaedic' firm Mattresses are available. *The
starred sizes are additionally available as two single mattresses (of the
same, or of different firmnesses) which can be zipped together to form
a double mattress. Other special sizes are also available on request.
